Breastinform is deliberately completely privately financed in order to be able to dispose of all resources autonomously, independently and flexibly. Despite our efforts as developers, we need strong partners in order to be successful in the long term. This includes both the active distribution of the app and the financial stability of the campaign. The freedom from advertising and the promise to respect user data and not to generate money by selling it means that we do not (want to) generate any cash flow natively through the app.
We would like to be able to continuously expand and improve Breastinform with new innovations in the future. The development of the campaign, including the app, has so far been carried out entirely without external investors using our own savings and almost three years of our own work.
